Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 2.0 is the second phase of the flagship skill development scheme launched by the Government of India. It aims to provide industry-relevant skill training to millions of youth across the country to improve their employability and help them secure better jobs.
Under PMKVY 2.0, training is offered in various sectors like IT, healthcare, retail, construction, textiles, and more, with a focus on hands-on practical skills. The scheme provides free training to candidates, along with a certificate recognized by the government after successful completion.
The main objectives of PMKVY 2.0 include:

Facilitating skill training for both fresh entrants and those needing upskilling or reskilling.
Promoting entrepreneurship and self-employment.
Enhancing the overall productivity and quality of the workforce.
